Comprising the countries Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda and known as the cradle of mankind, it is full of compelling ancient history of anthropological and archaeological interests from the Stone and Iron Ages to the rich history of the Arab, Persian and Portuguese settlements along the coast since the 12th century. It is here, where cultural traditions are preserved to the present day.

Few places surpass the combination of the overwhelming appeal of wildlife, the breathtaking scenery, from palm-fringed white sandy beaches lapped by the waters of the Indian Ocean, to the fresh frosty mornings of the Central Highlands and the dry burning heat of the deserts and semi-deserts of the north.
